Friends of Foster Children Forever (FFCF) is partnering with Naples Auto Donation Center (NADC) for an “Auto Roundup”

Friends of Foster Children Forever (FFCF) is partnering with Naples Auto Donation Center (NADC) in an “Auto Roundup” campaign this season. The Roundup will help raise funds for much needed academic mentoring programs provided by FFCF for foster children in Southwest Florida.

NADC will accept donated cars on behalf of FFCF and then clean them up and sell them. If a donor wants to only donate half the value of their car, NADC can facilitate that too. It’s all part of a four-month campaign concluding with the annual FFCF western-style Boots and Boogie Bash fundraiser which will be held on April 2 at Grey Oaks Country Club.

Jennifer Walsh, NADC Donor Relations Director and founding NADC board members, Bill Walsh and Doug Campbell, wanted to do something extra for the annual FFCF fundraiser this year so they decided to suggest an auto “roundup” in keeping with the western theme. The campaign will help to create mission awareness for FFCF and also generate funds for their tutoring programs.

The “Auto Roundup” will begin December 1, 2015 and run through March 30, 2016. NADC have set an aggressive goal to round up 50 automobiles. Jane Billings, FFCF Executive Director, was thrilled to hear about the campaign and the goal. She went on to say that if 50 cars are needed, Naples is the place to find them.

“We have such a generous community and NADC is one of those groups that help us fulfill our mission,” says Billings. “We are so fortunate to have them run this Roundup campaign for us. We are so thankful and encourage as many auto donations as possible.”

Campbell adds that with the help of the local business owners, the word can spread even more about the Roundup. He said that NADC and FFCF are asking businesses to consider putting an “Auto Roundup” sign outside their businesses which will create awareness and hopefully lead to donations. NADC also has brochures that they are asking businesses to put inside their stores for their customers to pick up.

Participating business owners will be recognized in social media, in the FFCF newsletter and at the Boots and Boogie Bash for being “Roundup” partners. The campaign totals will be announced at the 2016 Boots and Boogie Bash.

NADC will pick up the automobile and facilitate all paperwork, titles and IRS Form 1098-C for your tax deduction. To donate an automobile or be a “Roundup” Business Partner, please call NADC at 239-692-9840.
