On January 22nd, Local attorney William G. Morris announced his 2020 series of seminars to educate those thinking about making Florida their domicile. Morris will explore issues of concern and how to deal with them. The seminars will be free to participants, but due to limited seating, reservations are encouraged. The seminars will be moderated by financial adviser Kevin O’Fee of Edward Jones.
The seminars will explore a wide variety of issues related to Florida domicile. These will include how to establish domicile, tax and other benefits, estate planning and even how to escape the clutches of the northern tax collector.
Morris has been a practicing attorney in Collier County for over 30 years. His practice includes estate planning, real estate and litigation. His long tenure in Collier County has provided legal experience in a wide variety of legal issues.
The series is a continuation of the Florida domicile seminars Morris offered last year at the request of Kevin O’Fee. “Kevin asked me to be the speaker at a series of seminars on Florida domicile last year,” said Morris. “We agreed that most of the seminars offered by others were simply too long, so my presentations will be limited to one hour.” The approach works well, as these seminars are presented to a full house each evening.
The series will be held at Keller Williams Realty, 830 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island, Florida from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on the following dates:
- February 5th, 2020
- March 3rd, 2020
- April 1st, 2020
These seminars are free, but reservations are required due to the limited capacity of the meeting room and the terrific turn out last year. For reservations or further information, please contact Kathy Ansted at 239-394-2412.
