Fishing Camp 101

 

 

DSC06217Fishing Camp 101 will cover the basics of casting, knot tying, tackle gear, identification of types of fish, and how to properly handle fish. This camp is sponsored by Marco Island Parks and Recreation and the UF Extension Services of the 4-H Youth Development program. Each day campers will be out fishing learning the ins and outs of proper fish regulations and skills. On the final day on Friday we will be at
 

 

Tigertail Beach and put our fishing skills to the ultimate test. Please bring snacks and bottled water and apply sunscreen before the start of each day. Pre-registration is required for this camp.

Fishing Camp 101 is open to ages 9 – 13 years and will be available on July 14 – 18 at Mackle Park. Cost is $85/resident and $102/non-resident.
