First Florida Integrity Bank Breaks Ground

First Florida Integrity Bank executives, along with representatives from the Marco Island city government and Chamber of Commerce participated in the ground breaking for the new 3,000 square foot single-story building located between Paradise Seafood and Walker’s Marine on Bald Eagle Drive.

“For years, First Florida Integrity Bank has had a storefront here on the island. We are very excited to have them breaking ground for a new building which will serve as a full-service branch,” remarks Dianna Dohm, Executive Director of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce.

“The plans for the 3,000 square foot building include a small conference room the community can use. We kept storms and hurricanes in mind with our design. Instead of putting a traditional generator on this building, we made this a hurricane stable facility by putting an entire solar array on the roof of the building. We have a Tesla battery system within the building. The entire building will be fully operational with hours of a storm event. With a half a day of sun, we will be able to run the building all day long,” explains Mark McLean, MHK Architecture & Planning.

The completion date is set for April 2019.
