FIREWORKS FUND STILL NEEDS HELP

Recently a call to the community was made by the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce to help fund Marco Island’s incredible July 4th fireworks display. The amount of $26,000 was needed in order to provide residents and visitors with the same quality fireworks that were enjoyed in past Independence Day celebrations.

The Marco Island community has pulled together, as it does in times of need, and raised an impressive $16,000 in a short period of time. However, $10,000 more is still needed.

To date, the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce has received donations from these generous businesses and individuals: AP Builders, Janice and Perry Baptiste, the Boy girls (Sandra Boy), CJ’s on the Bay, Dianna and Kevin Dohm, Bill Filbin, First Florida Integrity Bank, Edward Grzybowski and Patricia Bungert, Betty Hawkins, Hemingway Water Shuttle, Richard and Joyce Kaelin, Little Bar Restaurant, Marco Beach Ocean Resort, Marco Island Area Association of Realtors, Marco Island Civic Association, Marco Island Clothing Company, Marco Movies, Mike and Barbara Murphy, Donna and Stan Niemczyk, Katherine O’Hara, Laura Owen, Physicians Regional Medical Center, Carolyn and James Pontier, James R. Roath Consulting, Rose Marina, Pat and Ron Rutledge, Sand Bar, Sea Mar Condos, See Thru Windows, Leonard and Sandra Schuman, Siegel Dental, Snook Inn, Heidi Waters, and Xcel Fitness Spa.

Please consider showing your support by making a donation, in any amount, to help continue this great American tradition right here on our island.

Checks should be made payable to the Marco Island Fireworks Fund, and mailed to or dropped off in person at the Marco Island Area Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Fund, 1102 North Collier Blvd., Marco Island, FL 34145. All donations are tax deductible.
