Family, Work & Community Service, One Landscape at a Time

Marco Island residents Al and Yvette Benarroch bring the perfect balance to Affordable Landscaping Service & Design, LLC. The company was established in 1996 as a small residential landscaping company in Marco Island, Florida. Since then, and with the loyalty and support of the community, the company has grown into a full-service landscaping company. They have 48 employees and offer a variety of services to over 500 customers in the Marco Island/Naples area including but not limited to landscaping design and installation, irrigation, pavers, tree trimming, lawn care maintenance, fertilization, mulching, Integrated Pest Control Management and Florida Friendly/Green Industries Best Management Practices Training. Most of the company employees and customers have been part of the Affordable Landscaping extended family for over 10 years and many have been there since their humble beginnings. Al and Yvette never forgot where they came from and they recognize that their employees and customers are all an integral part of their extended family and have been essential in their success. Without the loyalty and support of their employees, customers and the community they would not be where they are today!

Balancing family, work and community service can be challenging at times but important to do in order to make a significant difference in the relationships with family, employees, customers and the community. Al has over 40 years of experience in the landscaping industry and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent results. Yvette has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and is a FNGLA Certified Horticulturist, Certified Arborist, Certified Pest Control Operator, Certified Storm Water Inspector and a Green Industries Best Management Instructor. The company is a member of FNGLA (Florida Nursery Growers & Landscape Association), ISA (International Society of Arboriculture), CPCO (Certified Pest Control Operators Association of Florida) and Florida Storm Water Association.

Al and Yvette Benarroch are “living the American dream” thanks to the equality of opportunity that is available to any American, allowing for the highest aspirations and goals to be achieved. Al immigrated to the United States with his father when he was 11 years old and became an American citizen at the age of 18. Yvette is originally from Puerto Rico and moved to the Naples/Marco Island area in 2003. They have been married for 15 years and are the proud parents of Zachary (14), Danny (12) and their 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Rocky. As an US Air Force veteran, Yvette is proud that her son Zachary is following in her footsteps by joining the Lely JROTC program. This program teaches high school students love of country, to honor our American history, respect our American flag and stand for our American anthem.

Love for family, community, nature and the environment inspire Al and Yvette every day to continue to service this community with passion, honesty and integrity. As members of the community they are members of Noontime Rotary, American Legion Post 404, Marco Island Police Foundation and Marco Island Fire Foundation. They support many local organizations including Christmas Island Style, My Daily Bread Food Pantry, Marco Island Boxing Club, YMCA of South Collier, Lely JROTC, Marco Island Charter Middle School and many others. After Hurricane Irma, Maria and Dorian they helped in the relief efforts by collecting and helping distribute supplies to Marco Island, Naples, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.

In 2018, REMAX Affinity Plus awarded Yvette with the Victory Award for her community service and professional accomplishments. Al & Yvette will be eternally grateful to this country and this community for all the blessings they have received so through hard work and imparting American values to their children they hope to repay some of those debts of gratitude!
