This was one of the best Thanksgiving’s my family and I have ever shared. It was all about love, togetherness, support and encouragement. You couldn’t ask for better than that. The food came out great, and afterward we sat and talked for hours………… but not before my kids (I have 5 kids but one was working and one was in Albany for Thanksgiving) and grandkids took all of my Christmas decorations down from the attic and climbed into the trees and up on the roof to put up the twinkling lights which begin the celebration for our holiday – Christmas. This is such a magical time of year for everyone, as each person or family, celebrating their holiday in their own way, all seem to spread good will and peace. I hope it continues this year as it has in years gone by.
I have been told that Prime Outlets is under new ownership and the new owners are planning on improving the appearance and attracting new merchants to the center. I took a ride over there and noticed that ToysR-Us has opened a small outlet there. I’ll keep a check on the mall and let you know when I hear of any new stores coming to the area. We could sure use them!
Lots of festivities coming up over the next couple of weeks including the Marco Island Historical Society Luncheon to be held on 12/7 at the new museum’s Rose Auditorium.
