On September 22, Dolcezza Sweets held its grand opening, ribbon cutting ceremony. Dolcezza is a sweet shop that specializes in handmade chocolates, truffles, confections, authentic Italian gelato and hand-paddled fudge. About 70% of their products are made from scratch and each gelato flavor comes from their own original recipes. Dolcezza opened its doors on May 21, and has been making delicious sweets ever since. “We wanted to bring something that is high-end, but still family friendly, to the island,” said Gabriella. “We make a lot of our products, so we figured that it’s a nice little touch that Marco Island hasn’t really seen yet.” Besides chocolate, they also make in-house caramel popcorn, caramel pecan turtles, dipped apples,
