
The Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony officially welcomed Dolcezza to Marco Island.
On September 22, Dolcezza Sweets held its grand opening, ribbon cutting ceremony. Dolcezza is a sweet shop that specializes in handmade chocolates, truffles, confections, authentic Italian gelato and hand-paddled fudge. About 70% of their products are made from scratch and each gelato flavor comes from their own original recipes. They also offer customizable gift baskets, filled with your choice of sweets, for any occasion.
Dolcezza is owned by Steven Tabeek and Gabriella Gaggiano, a husband and wife duo who just recently gave birth to a baby girl, Chiara. Before opening Dolcezza, Steven and Gabriella had been living on the other coast in

Dolcezza opened its doors on May 21, and has been making delicious sweets ever since. “We wanted to bring something that is high-end, but still family friendly, to the island,” said Gabriella. “We make a lot of our products, so we figured that it’s a nice little touch that Marco Island hasn’t really seen yet.” Besides chocolate, they also make in-house caramel popcorn, caramel pecan turtles, dipped apples,

Steven and Gabriella also have in the works a lounge that will be located in the back portion of the store. They hope that within the next few months they’ll be able to hold events where they pair different types of wine and champagne with high-end chocolates and truffles.
