Overcast skies and pleasant temperatures welcomed visitors to Discover Tigertail, a program for attendees of all ages to become acquainted with Tigertail Beach.

The weather was also conducive to bird watching—a favorite pastime at the park, located at the north end of Marco’s 3.5-mile crescent beach.

Specialists from the Collier County Sea Turtle program, Rookery Bay Reserve, the Marco Shell Club, Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Tommie Barfield Elementary School (TBE) PTO worked the tables and kept things lively during the family-oriented event.
