Marco Island Center for the Arts and Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation from Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin, are pleased to present a day of free art demonstrations and a reception for artists and their friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 12 to 4 PM.
Highlights of the day include 45-minute demonstrations by five well-known artists in their chosen medium including David R. Becker from Chicago, Illinois and local artist Hannah Ineson. There will be hourly door prizes, silent auction, art sales of internationally known artists, information on resources for artists, and a complimentary beverage and snack reception.
Proceeds from the silent auction will support scholarships to the renowned Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation.

2 PM: Hannah Ineson, Naples, Fla.; “Watercolor Journaling.”
3 PM: Bonnie Jones, Edgewood, Fla.; “Watercolor Batik Techniques Simplified.”
Ongoing: Carol Schlintz, Muskego, Wisc.; “Pine Needle Basket.”

Artist David R. Becker will be teaching “The Most Important Watercolor Workshop You Will Ever Take” at the Marco Island Center for the Arts on January 29 – 30, 2019 from 9 AM – 4 PM.
Naples artist Hannah Ineson will offer the class “Illustrated Watercolor Journaling” in January, February and March at the Art Center. There is a fee to attend these workshops. To register, call 239-394-4221 or go to marcoislandart.org.
