The Rose History Auditorium at the Marco Island History Museum was very merrily decked with a variety of creative holiday wreaths on Nov. 30. The Second Annual “Deck the Doors and More” wreath and tree decorating contest drew a steady stream of visitors to enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine, socialize in some Christmas spirit and bid on the wreaths they hoped would adorn their door this holiday season.

“We’re reaching out to the community because this is a multi-purpose campus. History is number one, but this type of thing brings people and their creativity out. It’s a fun affair, and it’s just part of what we do here,” said Wagor.
