Cub Scouts Battle Firefighters in Annual Tug-of-War

Recently, members of the Marco Island Fire Department faced off against Cub Scout Pack 234 at the annual tug-of-war. Firefighters Dan Stoller, Alex Correa and Richard Esquerete arrived at Wesley United Methodist Church on their fire truck to greet the scouts. The firefighters graciously battled it out

with each of the dens individually before taking on the entire pack with a little assistance from the den leaders. It was a tough test of strength, but the Cub Scouts prevailed in each match up. Cub Scout Pack 234 is grateful to the firefighters for keeping up this popular tradition.
