
The sunshine was dazzling on the morning of May 7 at Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club, but the spirit of enthusiasm was even brighter as 68 golfers participated in the first annual Keller Williams Realty/The Speakeasy “Crazy Pants” Golf Tournament.
Participants were encouraged to wear their most colorful, crazy golf outfits for this fundraising event, and they did not disappoint.

Organized by Sandi Sims-Ramage and Donna Cottrell, both of Keller Williams Realty, the tournament was part of KW Cares, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports Homes For Our Troops, Ryan’s Well Foundation, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Heart2Heart, and KW Kids Care. Locally, the event raised money for Sunshine Cares and the Keller Williams

According to Sims-Ramage, the event raised over $6,000.
Taking place the day before Mother’s Day, the event proved to be a victory for the ladies, as the winning team was the foursome of Claudia McCoy, Kim Mitchell, Cindy Ellis and Gina Day. But all of the golfers were truly winners that day, as everyone enjoyed the sport and festivities, all in the spirit of charity!
