County Manager Leo Ochs is pleased to announce the appointment of Growth Management Department Director Nick Casalanguida as Deputy County Manager, which was confirmed at the Board of Collier County Commissioners meeting.
“Nick’s education, background, experience, managerial skills and proven track record of exemplary performance make him an ideal choice for this assignment,” County Manager Ochs said. “I will rely on Nick to lead and coordinate our agency’s efforts to implement business systems, best practices and workforce development programs that will enhance the county’s effectiveness and accountability.”
“I am proud of the work the Growth Management Department has undertaken, with the tremendous support of the board, to effectively manage our assets, make our operations more efficient and deliver superior customer service. I look forward to bringing some of those ideas to this new position and I am honored the County Manager has placed his faith in me to do this job,” said Mr. Casalanguida.
A transition plan will be announced; his proposed annual salary will be $159,310.
