The Conservancy of Southwest Florida announces the opening of the new Eva Sugden Gomez Environmental Planning Center and Sustainability Courtyard, the new headquarters for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
The event marks the completion of the final phase of construction and $20 million renovation of six new buildings at the Conservancy Nature Center. Each building was designed to meet and exceed LEED certification standards, transforming the 21-acre campus into the premier Nature Center in the southeastern U.S.
The public is invited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida during an Earth Day festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Conservancy Nature Center located at 1495 Smith Preserve Way south of the Naples Zoo off Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples.
