Marco Island is one of the safest communities in Florida. Still, 120 of the 413 condos on the market last week feature a guarded entrance and other security measures. Among them is the South Seas Club, with 63 condos for sale ranging in price from $340,000 to $768,500. Cape Marco has 36 condos for sale, ranging in price from $799,900 to $6,250,000. Hideaway Beach has 20 condos for sale, ranging in price from $699,500 to $3,964,000. Somerset has three for sale, ranging in price from $1,050,000 to $1,299,000, and Madeira has three for sale with prices ranging from $2,895,000 to $4,095,000.
In addition to the guarded gate, many of these condos have additional keyed entry to the building, front desk managers, coded elevator access and secure parking areas.
Cape Marco’s six condos, Belize, Cozumel, Merida, Monterrey, Tampico and Veracruz, have a total of 682 apartments. Built between 1992 and 2005, Cape Marco condos feature amenities such as guest suites, fitness center, sauna, library, theater, social room with billiards, as well as private beach access, a fishing pier, tennis, pool and spa and multi-story parking garages, assigned storage lockers and amazing lobbies. The listings include two, three and four bedroom condos from 1,572 square feet to 9,300 square feet. Cape Marco is pet friendly with weight limits of under 25 pounds or 17 inches maximum height.
South Seas Club is a beautiful beach and boating community consisting of 1,276 apartments with numerous amenities like tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce, shuffleboard, fitness center, boat docks, kayak storage and heated pools. The various high-rise, mid-rise and two story garden condos were built between 1979 and 1982. All the condos listed last week at the South Seas Club are two bedroom with between 964 square feet and 1,173 square feet. No pets are allowed in this community.
Hideaway Beach boasts over two miles of beach and 300 acres of manicured grounds and has a phenomenal sports complex, executive golf course, tennis and a beach club with formal and informal dining facilities. A boardwalk across a lagoon to a quiet beach area provides up close nature watching, a secluded picnic area with BBQ and kayak storage. Residents come and go by golf cart to the frequent social activities. Condos here include Habitat, Riviera and Royal Marco Point I at 1000, 2000 and 3000 Royal Marco Way and Royal Marco Point III, also known as 6000 Royal Marco Way. Altogether there are 367 condos in Hideaway Beach built between 1988 and 1995. Pets are allowed ranging in size from 20 pounds to 40 pounds at Riviera.
Somerset is on the beach with 122 two bedroom 1,300 to 1,600 square foot apartments with weekly rentals allowed. Amenities at Somerset include two heated pools, tennis court, storage locker, onsite manager and covered reserved parking spaces. This condo was built in 1990 and does not allow pets. Madeira, built in 2006, is the newest condo on the beach with 101 apartments. Three and four bedroom condos are for sale with 3,300 to 3,500 square feet. Madeira has lavish resort style amenities such as a beachside pool, barbecue area, tennis, billiards room, theater, dog park and guest suites.
