The founder of the Knights of Columbus Father Michael J. McGivney chose Christopher Columbus as the Order’s patron. The Catholic Explorer, revered as a man of vision, courage and missionary spirit, enjoyed a good Italian meal.
Come join the Knights from the San Marco Roman Catholic Church Council at the Parish Hall as we celebrate Columbus Day this coming October 10, 2011 starting at 5PM till 7PM with a great Italian Dinner extravaganza. There will be great food and music.
Enjoy our juicy meat balls and sausages swimming in our special spaghetti sauce. You will get a great dinner, including salad, bread, coffee or tea, and delicious dessert, all for only $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Don’t even think about asking for the recipe for our spaghetti sauce, which is made from scratch. That is a secret formula developed by our “Italian Dinner Founders” and handed down for 39 years.
Take out is available for $10. Taxes, gratuity and lots of fun are all included. No reservations are required. Just come hungry and do please wear a red shirt or blouse!!!
