SR 951: Over Mcllvane Creek l (4.7 miles south of US 41): Maintenance contract project — Contractor crews will begin working on bridge repairs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, weather permitting. Lane closures will occur in the northbound right lanes. Motorists are advised to watch for slow moving traffic and possible delays.
SR 29: From north of Oil Well Road to south of County Road 846 in Immokalee (approximately eight miles):Construction project — This project resurfaces the roadway and includes sidewalk, shoulder, and guardrail work and signal modifications at Farm Workers Village. Crews are grading shoulders and widening turn lanes along the project. Construction is scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lane closures may be necessary between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. with possible delays. Motorists are advised to look out for pedestrians and bicyclists, obey posted speed limits and drive with caution in the construction zone. Completion is estimated for fall 2012. The contractor is C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc.
