The Collier County Lodging & Tourism Alliance (CCLTA), a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing regional issues of mutual importance to the tourism industry and the local community, will host a tourism update breakfast on Wednesday, June 27th. The program will be held at Bellasera Hotel, 221 Ninth Street South. Registration and social begin at 8 a.m., with the program starting at 8:30 a.m.
The meeting will feature a presentation by Jack M. Wert, Executive Director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau. Wert will provide a summary of the most recent winter tourism season in Collier County and will highlight efforts to attract additional visitors and meeting groups to the region this coming summer.
Wert has more than 30 years of experience in advertising and promotion in the tourism industry, including destinations, hotels, restaurants and attractions. He joined the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2002. Before that he was Executive Director of the Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. A native of Ohio, Wert holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford.
The program is free of charge for CCLTA members and $10 per person for non-members. Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
