Marco Island Center for the Arts is pleased to present Chloe Agnew a singer, songwriter and actress from Dublin, Ireland. From the age of 14 she became one of the original and youngest members of the internationally acclaimed music group Celtic Woman.
Her singing debut was on Irish National Television at the age of 6. In 1999, her first appearance on PBS was part of Handel’s Messiah performing alongside Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Roger Daltrey and Aidan Quinn. In 2004, Chloe had just finished recording her second solo album when she was cast as one of the primary soloists for the Celtic Woman. Weeks after the first PBS special aired in March 2005 the group’s debut album reached #1 on Billboard’s Music Chart. Chloe has been featured on 14 of Celtic Woman’s albums.
Since 2013 Chloe has been pursuing a solo career performing with esteemed Irish tenors, Emmy award-winning singers and international artists. She remains a staple on PBS being showcased in several television shows. Her 2018 album is titled “The Thing About You.” Chloe’s new musical style is unlike anything fans have heard before from this “talented Irish songbird.”
Chloe Agnew’s Musical Interludes concert takes place on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at Marco Island Center for the Arts. Reserve your seat now.
