Celebrating the Return of the Key Marco Cat

The Marco Island Historical Museum held a celebration and ribbon cutting for the long-awaited return of the Key Marco Cat. Believed to have been carved by the Calusa Indians 500-to-1,500 years ago, the six-inch wooden statuette has returned to Marco for the first time since its 1896 discovery.
