Broadway on the Beach

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort will host the world premiere of “Broadway on the Beach,” a concert review of Broadway songs from November 29 – December 3.

The show will star Broadway’s Patrick Mulvey (“Billy Elliot”) with performances by Conner Meinhart (“First Date the Musical”) and Rachel Meinhart (“Chicago”), with Million Dollar Quartet’s Colte Julian on piano and Jeremy Gentry (“The Voice”) on drums. The show features stories and songs from the stage and offers a unique glimpse into show business from this family of performers. “I grew up coming to this island to visit my grandparents every summer from the Midwest, and am looking forward to returning to this very special place. I’m also thrilled about the fact that a portion of proceeds will go to the Harry Chapin Food Bank,” said Mulvey.

The concert, at the JW Marriott Marco Island’s beach pavilion, will welcome guests to the beautifully restored beaches. The resort’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Amanda Cox added, “We are ready to start welcoming everyone back to Paradise. The resort has worked tirelessly to get back up and running, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s efforts and the support from the community. When I saw the opportunity to bring “Broadway on the Beach” to our resort, I realized that the timing could not be better. Marco Island has never been stronger, and we are excited to present a great night of fabulous food and wonderful music.”

“Broadway on the Beach” Producer Marika Engelhardt stated, “We are delighted to premiere this show at Marco Island and could think of no better home than the JW Marriott Marco Island’s beachfront pavilion, with its stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico as a backdrop.”

Performances are November 29, 30 and Dec 1, 3 at 6 PM in the JW Marriott Marco Island’s beachfront pavilion located at 400 S Collier Blvd. Dining packages and VIP seating available. For tickets: broadwayonthebeachmarcoisland.
