Grab your breakfast and binoculars and head to Tigertail Beach to learn all about the variety of birds that frequent Marco Island’s beautiful beaches.
Friends of Tigertail will be hosting its popular Breakfast and Birds program for the fifteenth year. The event takes place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9 to 11 AM at Tigertail Beach on Marco Island.
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet other birders who are interested in learning how to identify the wading birds and shorebirds that forage in the Tigertail Lagoon during the winter. Birding ID cards, hats and t-shirts will be available.
Breakfast and Birds is a free program, open to the public, and reservations are not required. Parking at Tigertail Beach is free with a Collier County Beach Parking Pass. Residents can obtain a sticker at no cost at any Collier County Library. (For more information visit www.colliergov.net/Index.aspx?page=2665#Residents.)
Friends of Tigertail (FOT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the active natural systems of Tigertail Beach. Memberships are tax deductible and benefit the FOT scholarship program.
