Boys & Girls Club of Collier County begins fall after-school programs

The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County recently began its fall after-school programs.

Nearly 400 members entered the main campus after their first day of school to enjoy the impact-driving programs designed to help develop strong character and life skills while keeping them on track to graduate high school. On their first day back, members were divided into groups according to their ages and received their new membership cards. They received a nutritious meal and were able to unwind after their first day of school. They engaged in sports such as basketball and volleyball and “ice-breaker” activities familiarizing them with the facility, safety procedures, staff and programs.

“It’s exciting to see Club members reunite with old friends and even make new ones. We look forward to providing a safe environment after school and seeing the positive impact our programs have on local youth,” said Paul Schultz, Vice President of Operations at the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County.
