Traveling With Pomegranates is a book of self-reflection and thought, a beautiful travel memoir as well as a study of the mother – daughter relationship. Set against the backdrops of Greece and France, both women find themselves at a crossroads in their lives and are struggling to redefine themselves. The dual narration helps us to understand both of their perspectives and gives the book a “tennis match” approach that is fun to read. The best part of this book, though, is the rich description of the places they visited. It’s difficult not to close your eyes and imagine you’re there with them. Hope you get a chance to read this delightful book and to meet the authors on the 15th.
