701 Bistro & Lounge is making some big changes in the way of their cuisine. The restaurant, which originally served contemporary dishes with a Latin flare, is now getting back to its roots. The menu has been reworked and revamped and is now better than ever. Owner Davide, after careful consideration, has decided to add more authentic Italian dishes to the menu, his specialty.

You may know Davide from his other eatery, Davide Italian Café & Deli located on Bald Eagle. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to dine there then you know that Davide knows a thing or two about Italian cooking. Now 701 Bistro & Lounge will offer international cuisine, Italian and American dishes and sushi. Some new items to the menu include the Veal Scaloppini, Zuppa di Pesce, Smoked Brisket, homemade Cannelloni

701 Bistro & Lounge is a family affair. Davide’s father, Filippo, along with his partner Paulo, sing both Italian and American classics Monday through Thursdays in the lounge area, while Davide’s mother runs back and forth between the kitchens at 701 Bistro & Lounge and Davide Italian Café & Deli, lending her knowledge and support of all things food. Together they work hard to ensure that guests have a culinary experience they won’t soon forget.

701 Bistro & Lounge offers two happy hour specials twice daily, one from 3-6 PM in the lounge, which includes complimentary antipasti, and then again from 10 PM to 2 AM. There’s always something going on at 701. Whether it’s live music, karaoke, or wine or cocktail tastings, its bound to be a good time.
