Dean Shipley was recognized as Marco’s Rookie of the Year for 2016. The award recognizes the outstanding sales achievement in closed residential units for a newly licensed sales person during their first full-year as a real estate sales professional.
Dean was presented the honor at a business meeting held at the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors building. “Dean is truly deserving of this honor. During 2016, he had a very successful year attaining multi-million dollar sales success, which is very unusual for a newly licensed sales professional. He’s set a standard for what is possible for someone to achieve when entering a new career field,” says Managing Broker Ken Bennett.
Dean attributes his success to his “Strong Midwestern values combined with honesty and trust.” His desire to deliver more than is expected, and his attention to detail, has helped him have the strong career start. On the more personal side, Beth Shipley, Dean’s wife of 17 years, has definitely grown accustomed to the beautiful Florida sunshine and their two rescue dogs, Coby and Gracie, have also adapted nicely.
