IBERIABANK has partnered with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) to host three informative seminars where Sergeant Neal Bohannon from the CCSO will provide instruction and tactics to help individuals improve their chances of surviving an active shooter scenario. Places formerly viewed as safe havens unfortunately have become targets for individuals or groups who want to afflict fear and harm. To help citizens better prepare, the public is invited to attend one of the following lectures:

October 4: IBERIABANK, 605 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island. Reservations: 239- 393-2400.

October 5: IBERIABANK, 3838 Tamiami Trial N., Naples. Reservations: 239-403-5123.

November 9: IBERIABANK, 2180 Immokalee Road, Naples. Reservations: 239-593-2021.

All three lectures will begin with a welcome reception at 5:30 PM. The formal presentations

Sergeant Bohannon joined the CCSO in 1998 and is a graduate of Florida State University. He is the lead instructor for the CCSO Civilian Response to Active Shooter program with a background in police tactics, training and S.W.A.T. that spans nearly
20 years.

Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk thanked IBERIABANK for hosting the events and encouraged members of the public to attend. “This is a great opportunity for members of our community to learn about active shooter situations and how to respond in the unlikely event of one,” he said. “We appreciate the partnership of IBERIABANK in opening these sessions up to the public.”
