The Board of Directors of Bedtime Bundles is pleased to announce the organization, and its mission, will continue! Karen Saeks, the founder of Bedtime Bundles, felt obliged to resign as Executive Director earlier this fall to allow more time with family. A series of meetings ensued and Dennis Pidherny has enabled a reorganization of the Bedtime Bundles 501(c)3 corporation. Dennis is well known throughout the community for his tireless volunteer hours with organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, the Seafood Festival, Knights of Columbus and as President of the Marco Healthcare Auxiliary. Karen will remain the “face of Bedtime Bundles” and function in conjunction with Rob Reiley and Dennis. Rob Reiley has been involved with Bedtime Bundles since 2008. Rob has particular interest in the Bedtime Bundles because it is a grassroots organization and is an all volunteer charity. Rob’s main role will remain in inventory, purchasing and production.
“Due to the efforts and enthusiasm of Dennis and Rob, both true leaders in the community, the under served migrant children will be afforded much needed basics to enhance their lives. All of us at Bedtime Bundles are most grateful to Dennis and Rob. I am so pleased Bedtime Bundles will continue its mission and support their efforts for a more caring community,” Karen exclaimed.
