Art in the Park Returns to Cambier

The Naples Art Association (www.NaplesArt.org) – a non-profit organization whose mission is to expand cultural opportunities, broaden education, and enrich Southwest Florida through the visual arts – is pleased that its popular Art in the Park will return to Cambier Park in Downtown Naples for the 2016-2017 season.

Now in its 59th season, Art in the Park is the oldest outdoor art show in Southwest Florida.  This popular, casual, and fun-filled event allows attendees to meet local artists and become acquainted with their work, while also giving the artists a platform from which to foster the public’s knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of their diverse talents and extensive portfolios.  Each artist taking part in Art in the Park is a member in good standing of the Naples Art Association.

Art in the Park takes place the first Saturday of the month from November through April from10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Cambier Park.

A working art center, the Naples Art Association creates unique opportunities for local artists and guest as well with a full calendar of events each season including special exhibitions featuring local and national artists; Art in the Park—Naples’ oldest outdoor art show; The Naples National Art Festival—a nationally-ranked outdoor festival; its popular Dinner with Artists series which pairs local chefs with an artist for a dinner and live demonstration like no other; For the Love of Art—Naples Art Association’s Annual Art Celebration Fundraiser; Goddess Night—an evening of friendship, empowerment, education, and philanthropy for women; ARTScool summer arts education program for kids; a Halloween haunted house; over 100 various classes and workshops for all levels; and a myriad of collaborative outreach programs with area non-profits.
