Marco Island Center for the Arts announced tickets are now available for the performance of Musica Bella at the Center on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. The production is a cooperative venture with the Cultural and Performing Arts Center of Naples, Florida.
Musica Bella was originally formed in 2009 as the “Rauschenburg Quartet.” Performing on flute, violin, cello and piano (and occasionally using historical instruments such as the baroque flute and harpsichord) the musicians transport the listeners to another time and place.
The evening will feature a musical journey from baroque to jazz. Members of Musica Bella are not only talented musicians, but are also versed in the history of their music and instruments. The audience will not only enjoy a musical program, but also an education regarding the musical selections and the composers. Wendy Willis (flute), Vivian Aiello (violin), Diane Coffman (cello) and Dr. Ronald Doiron (piano/harpsichord/organ) are the talented members of Musica Bella.
