Leading the way is the 320 unit Angler’s Cove on the Marco River with direct access to the Gulf. Last week 14 condos (about 4%) were for sale at Angler’s Cove and 17 Anglers Cove condos have sold so far this year.
Angler’s Cove, built in 1982, offers resort amenities including two pools with spas, two tennis courts, car wash, jet ski dock, leased boat slips, barbeque area, and the Dolphin Tiki Bar and Grill on site with views of the river. Weekly rentals make this a great investment opportunity. Included in the monthly fee are all the amenities (water, sewer, electricity and cable). Monthly fees are about $450. Considering that fee includes all amenities including electricity, Angler’s Cove provides great value.Angler’s Cove boasts an excellent location convenient to a number of restaurants and shops nearby. The beach is within a short biking or driving distance. This social and well maintained community is centrally located. Boating, fishing, and dining are all on site. The Angler’s Cove marina has 31 slips from 25 feet to 40 feet long. Conveniently located next door to Angler’s Cove is Rose Marina, offering rental boats, fishing charters, gas and diesel, a ship’s store and service facilities.
Last week 13 one bedroom condos were for sale with 717 to 828 square feet. List prices ranged from $189,900 to $259,900. Only one, two bedroom condo was for sale at $259,900. Some condos come with covered parking and some feature screened patios with a spiral staircase to the main living area. Many of these condos have water views. Most have been remodeled or extensively renovated. These are large one bedroom condos compared to other one bedroom condos on the island. Last week, for instance, 52 one bedroom condos were for sale on the island. Half of these were under 600 square feet, so Angler’s Cove has some of the largest one bedroom condos on the island.
