The Marco Island office of the American Cancer Society invites you to attend the kickoff of the 2019 Relay For Life on November 2 from 5:30 to 7 PM inside the community center at Mackle Park. Please join us to learn all about this amazing community-based global movement in the fight against cancer. For the past two years, the Relay For Life of Marco Island, presented by Robert J. Flugger, has placed first in fundraising for the state of Florida. We are planning to do it again, and this time, we need YOU!
The Kickoff Celebration will commemorate the 15-year anniversary of the Relay For Life on Marco Island. We are bringing it back home to beautiful Mackle Park where it all began. All are welcome to come enjoy snacks and beverages to celebrate the accomplishments of the American Cancer Society. The anxiously awaited 2019 Relay For Life theme will be revealed at the Kickoff!
Despite its title, participation in the Relay For Life requires no athletic prowess. There is a track, but it is merely symbolic of our circle of hope. The quest for a cure will not end until cancer is eliminated from our world. Throughout the year, Relay teams work diligently to raise funds for the cause. Their efforts culminate at the Relay For Life when we celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost and join together to finish the fight once and for all against this deadly disease.
Please join us on November 2 to learn how you can relay a message of hope in the fight against cancer. Mark your calendars now for the Relay For Life of Marco Island, March 30, 2019 at Mackle Park.
