Amongst the destruction and aggravation the damage of Hurricane Irma brought into our lives recently, true “Storm Troopers” were able to come to our rescue as well.

After the storm, Capt. Randy Howrigan, the SWFL Agency Manager for First American Title Insurance Company called Island Title, his number one agent in Collier County, and asked if there was anything he could do. Dawn Norgren, EVP of Island Title joked and said, “Sure we need a fuel tanker and a truck full of ice!” His reply of, “Let me see what I can do” became a battle cry.

Within 24 hours, Randy who lives near Sarasota, Florida, drove his SUV down to Island Title’s office filled with nine- five gallon gas cans and two giant boat coolers filled with more than 20 bags of ice. Gas and ice were provided for all the employees of Island Title, as well as leftovers for some of the managers working 24/7 onsite at area condominiums.

Dawn Norgren said it was truly an example of ordinary people doing extraordinary acts of kindness and more of her truly amazing experience of neighbor helping neighbor in this time of need.
