The open-air freshness, locally grown produce, yummy baked goods, handmade items, and an assortment of mouthwatering delicacies provide a unique small town social setting for Marco Island’s Farmers Market, which recently reopened for season.
Its opening day was much anticipated by both residents and visitors. It is the ideal place to pick up your favorite seasonal floral bouquet, a basket of sweet Florida corn, a bag of grapefruit; replenish your supply of Naples Honey; or stop by the Tomato Lady or check out Tara O’Neill’s hand-painted Marco Cat and alligator towels.
When you get hungry, head out to the food stalls for a taste of international cuisine; Argentinian, Greek, Jamaican, German, French, Mexican and Italian. Sample cheeses from the French Alps; bring home a bottle of specialty olive oil from Olive Oil of the World, and marvel at the colors and scents from Mondepice Spices and Teas. Just follow your nose and it will not disappoint. Don’t miss out on fresh baked pastries, tarts, and breads. And if you are shopping for gifts, browse through the array of handmade jewelry and artwork. Let’s not forget “man’s best friend” at Bark Street Dog Bakery.
Welcome back to all our returning vendors such as Olive Oil of the World, New York Bagels, Denis Meurgue of Bistro Soleil, JC’s Daily Bread, Herbeque BBQ, South Naples Citrus Grove, Bark Street Dog Bakery, Jimmy’s Java, Inyoni Organic Vegetables, The Happy Pickle, Naples Bread and Pastries, Dominga Cruz Flowers and Anita’s Guacamole. Can’t wait to visit the new vendors this year!
