This year the annual Kiwanis car show will be held February 13, 2011, 10 am-3 pm, at the Marco Healthcare Center. This is the 6th year Kiwanis has run the show and it gets bigger and better with each year. All monies collected from the show go towards children’s programs and scholarships for high school seniors. This year the Lely High School Jazz band will be performing along with guest MC Steve Reynolds. The Italian American Club will be selling home-made pastries and cakes for the second year in a row. The Kiwanis “cooks” will be again cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for purchase along with soda and water.

As in past years there is no charge to enter your car and to show our appreciation to the car owners we will be serving free coffee and donuts. 50/50 tickets will be sold and a $6 table for the ladies will be available selling scarves, pocket books, etc. There is a $5 fee for spectators to enter the show.

Various car clubs from the area will be in attendance including, Cool Cruisers, Marco Island Corvettes, Naples Corvette Club, AACA of Naples and Marco Island and West Coast Muscle Car Club. In fact, all the owners of antique, custom or muscle cars on Marco Island and Naples are welcome to come out to the show and show off your pride and joy. Help the Kiwanis help kids!

The Kiwanis Club thanks the Marco Police Dept., Marco Fire Dept. and the City of Marco for their assistance in making this event possible.
