By Jane A. Marlowe On Sunday, January 20, Marco Island music lovers heard a joyful noise at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. As part of St. Mark’s 2012-2013 Concert Series, the Naples Harp Ensemble presented a lyrical musical afternoon. Our own Carolyn Katchmar of Marco Island is a member of the ensemble. The program commenced with Bamboula by Louis Moreau Gottschalk. The vivid music was enhanced by the superb talent of the full ensemble with the Kellyn Celtic Dancers interpreting the animated melody dramatically veiled in black. Harp Ensemble heads to Marco

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is excited to announce a performance by the “Love of Harps” musicians on Sunday, January 20, at 3:00 PM. Open to the public, the free concert will feature many harps performing a variety of programs. From Classical to Pop to Jazz music, “Love of Harps” has something for everyone. Bundles for Christmas

Bedtime Bundles joined forces with congregants from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Sunday, December 9, 2013, to distribute 62 bundles to children at RCMA (Redlands Christian Migrant Association) located in East Naples, on 6L Farm Road. The children and their parents were treated to a Christmas party sponsored by St. Mark’s. We were able to enhance their day by giving each child a bundle, as well as a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart. Their parents were encouraged to help themselves to extra sweatshirts, sweatpants, socks & underwear.
