Marco Men’s Club Celebrates Christmas, Chanukah

More than 160 Marco Men’s Club members and their spouses and friends celebrated the holidays at Forest Glen Country Club in Naples. A good time was had by all as Bonnie Bozzo (wife of former MMC President Al Bozzo), Rose Kramer and others lead the group in song and cheer, including a riotous “12 Days of Christmas”.

The MMC expects member participation at these events, and they got it. Jack DeHanas, the MMC current president, presided over the activities. Warren Dettinger played Santa and distributed gifts, and received many hugs and kisses.

The Marco Men’s Club provides men an opportunity to make new friends, share common interests and participate in a wide range of activities, including golf, Major League Baseball spring training games, National Football League games, men’s-only lunches, etc.

There also are plenty of “coed” activities that include world travel to exciting destinations in Europe, South American and the Far East, and closer to home, the MMC’s coed events, include the Hurricane Ball, St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Fat Tuesday party, Valentine’s Sweetheart Ball, wine tastings, theater outings, coed lunches and much more.

The MMC welcomes new members from Marco Island, Isles of Capri and Goodland. The Club meets at 10 AM on the second Thursday of each month at the Mackle Park Community Center. MMC has more than 500 members and meets throughout the year. To find out more information and to download an application, go to
