Book Signings at Sunshine Booksellers

James Sheehan

James Sheehan

Sunshine Booksellers of Marco Island is pleased to announce book signings by two big names in novel writing coming this February. The independently owned bookstore is known for bringing in top-selling authors to its warm and welcoming location at 677 South Collier Boulevard.

Thursday, February 7, brings James Sheehan to Sunshine Booksellers. A successful trial attorney for 30 years, Sheehan writes novels about what he knows. His most recent book, “The Lawyer’s Lawyer,” will be available for purchase along with his previous publications such as “The Mayor of Lexington Avenue” and “The Law of Second Chances.”

As is customary at Sunshine Booksellers, Sheehan will offer a short presentation, followed by questions from the audience and will then autograph books. The presentation begins at 4:00 PM.

Tim Dorsey

Tim Dorsey

On Sunday, February 10, Tim Dorsey will be signing copies of his latest book, “Riptide Ultra-Glide.” This is Dorsey’s sixteenth novel based on the character Serge Storms. As a lifelong Floridian (since the age on one), Dorsey’s books, while fictional, are often based on experiences or people from his home state. Beginning at 3:00 PM, Dorsey will also provide a presentation and answer and question format before he signs any of his myriad books fans may bring to him.

Author events at Sunshine Booksellers are free and a drawing for an autographed book takes place at each signing. Be sure to arrive early as Sunshine Booksellers fills up fast when bringing in such fine and famous authors.

As the months roll on, even more fabulous writers will grace Marco Island readers with their presence thanks to Sunshine Booksellers. For more information on what’s to come, visit www.sunshinebooksellers.com.
