The City of Marco Island is pleased to report Fiscal 2012 financial results.
For the year ending September 30, 2012, revenues were $20,789,589.00 versus a budget of $21,016,165.00. Operating expenses were $19,817,977.00 versus a budget of $21,016,165.00.
The City ended the year in excellent financial condition with $2,253,878.00 in unallocated reserves and $4,257,285.00 in emergency reserves.
In accordance with our City Charter provisions we are $2,368,730.00 below our authorized spending cap.
City wide debt including utility and STRP decreased from $216,885,485. 00 to $203,893,634.00 at fiscal year end. Please contact City Manager Jim Riviere for additional information.
