Domestic Animal Services Seeks Public Input for Ordinance Revision

Domestic Animal Services (DAS) is inviting members of the public to participate in a DAS Advisory Board meeting Tuesday, September 18, at DAS, 7610 Davis Boulevard, at 6:30 p.m. The goal of the meeting is to review the proposed changes to the Animal Control Ordinance and accompanying policy documents.

DAS is encouraging interested community members to review the Ordinance and Resolution documents posted on the DAS website prior to the meeting, and then attend to voice their opinions about the proposed changes. The DAS Advisory Board will consider all public comment. If the Advisory Board approves the changes, the revised Animal Control Ordinance will then go to the Board of County Commissioners for its review and final approval.

Contact information for the Domestic Animal Services Advisory Board members is located on the DAS website at www.collierpets.com and also provided below. Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and to contact advisory board members to assure their input is considered.
