MIPD News Release BIKE THEFT PREVENTION

In the recent week, the Marco Island Police Department has observed an increasing trend in the thefts of bicycles. Although the trend seems to be geographically isolated to the immediate vicinity of Seaview Ct., the Department would like to caution everyone to take steps to prevent future bicycle thefts. Please consider the following crime prevention methods: Properly document your bicycle, including a picture. If there are any unique features or marks, photograph those distinctive characteristics as well. Andrew Gustafson

Andrew Gustafson, 73 of Marco Island, Florida formally of Langdon, ND passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Andrew was born February 23, 1939 in Langdon, ND the oldest son of Kathryn and the late Joseph Gustafson. Andrew grew up in Langdon, ND where he farmed for 34 years, and served six years in the National Guard. Andrew is survived by his wife Evelyn Gustafson of Marco Island, daughter Angie and son Mitchell of San Diego, Ca.
