June Dunfee cares for the Chihuahuas
DAS is looking for forever homes for 11 lovable Chihuahuas that will be available for adoption on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The 11 Chihuahuas came to DAS earlier this month after being surrendered by their owner. The dogs are healthy and happy, but will need patient and loving families to help them blossom. “They’re a lovable bunch of dogs, but they’ve only ever known one owner, so they’ll need time to adjust to new things,” said Senior Shelter Technician June Dunfee. Dunfee has been the primary caretaker of the Chihuahuas since their arrival at DAS.
All of the Chihuahuas are spayed/neutered and will be ready to go home with their new families on Saturday. Stop by DAS at 7610 Davis Blvd. and meet these special pooches in person.
