On Christmas Eve a bag of gold was found on the floor of the Publix store at theMarco Island Town Center.  The bag was turned over to the store manager and is now in the hands of the Marco Island Police.  The person who lost the gold can reclaim it by calling the police at 389-5050.  There are certain identifying characteristics associated with the gold,  the bag and some notations that will return the gold to the right owner.
