Do your children need physicals for their sports programs? Well, the kind doctors from Poling Medical Center, located on 606 Bald Eagle Dr., are coming together on Saturday, June 5th at Marco Island Charter Middle School to hold free health screenings for all of its students.
Robert and Patricia Poling are kind enough to spend their day from 8 AM, to screen your children for the flu and any other ailments they might have. Robert and Patricia both express that “We are delighted to donate our time to do physicals at the charter school. It is one way we can give back to the community and particularly to the schools. We have three children enrolled at Tommie Barfield Elementary School and we think the school is excellent. Our oldest daughter will start the middle school in the fall and we know that will be an equally good experience.”
Roger Raymond from MICMS, the man behind it all, explains, “Dr. Robert Poling and Dr. Patricia Poling are again working with our school to offer this program to our students. The Marco Island Fire Department will also be on board again this year. The screenings qualify the students for participation in our after school sports program and are good for one calendar year. A $10 donation is being asked which will benefit the MICMS Athletic Trust Fund. The school can be reached at 377-3200 if more information is needed by potential attendees.”
Come out on Saturday, June 5th to participate in this great and FREE cause.
