Newest PALs to Sponsor Art League

On February 2, 2010 the Art League, Marco Island’s Center for the Arts, announced the latest addition to its growing list of gallery wall sponsors participating in the PALs (“Patrons of the Art League”) program. A plaque on this gallery wall will read, “Art League Leadership – Past and Future.” Sponsorship of this PALs wall was initiated by Gail & Emil Fischer, and LaVonne & Glen Johnson. 2nd Annual Marco Bridge Run

The 2nd Annual Marco Bridge Run is scheduled for February 14, 2010, at 7 a.m., at the Greater Marco YMCA, 101 Sandhill, Marco Island.   A group of professional business people on Marco Island recognized the need for a high-level fitness event as a fundraiser.  The recipient of the proceeds is the Marco Island YMCA.    They YMCA was selected, in part, due to the, untimely, death of Carole Sbertoli, a Marco Island Realtor who was stricken and died pursuing her passion of health and fitness and had been an active supporter of the YMCA.   The race includes prize ...
